Following on from qualifying with a BSc honours degree in Biology from UCL London Joanne went on to study for a degree in physiotherapy from Kings College London where she qualified with an honours degree. Joanne now has over 20 years of experience as a chartered state registered physiotherapist. Joanne is a member of the Health professions council and the chartered society of physiotherapy as well as being qualified in acupuncture and being a member of the AACP. Joanne is an AAPI trained pilates instructor as well as being a qualified personal trainer. Joanne also has further post-graduate training in women’s health and postnatal physiotherapy, therefore, being able to provide clinical postnatal physical checks and exercise prescriptions and expert advice regarding pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Joanne takes her work as a way of life. Being a keen runner as well as attending the gym most days, she undertakes her own rigorous training regime to keep in the best possible health. Doing this provides the best possible service and example for people in relation to what exercise can do for both their mental and physical health. Having 3 children and a french bulldog called Bailee keeps Joanne busy when she is not practising physiotherapy or teaching pilates. Joanne is friendly and approachable and operates under the best evidence-based practice to provide clinically research-based physiotherapy and personal training service.
